he was reluctant at first and even "forgot to remember" to try out, but we signed him on at the last minute and he was hooked instantly.
they didn't mess around, either. i suppose i shouldn't be surprised that his school would do this kind of thing in a big way, but i decided to be anyway. they practiced after school three days a week for nearly three months. **forgot to mention that about half of the kids (pj included) got to take a field trip to a recording studio to record the background songs. luckeeeeee!
then they put on three performances, opening friday night and showing a matinee and evening show on saturday.
next year he has decided he's going to go for the lead. perhaps we have a budding actor on our hands?
some highlights...

Most awesome! Way to go Peeg! I want the first autograph!!
We saw this production when the kids at Nicea's school did it. What a fun play.
I can tell from the photos that he's quite the method actor.
I smell an Oscar! You go, PJ! Thanks, Lauren for the photos and the new post. Love you, schweetie.
Yah, that was an awesome production when we saw it at Nicea's school, and the monkeys in their play were kind of the cool guys. Did you film it? Love the costume :)
I can totally see PJ being an actor. Looks like a lot of fun and I would like the second autograph please!
How cute! I can't believe how grown up he is! Looks like he had a great time!
