an easter afternoon

i took the kids to an event at the arboretum in pasadena yesterday.
i'm being summoned to help with the seafood extravaganza ensuing in the kitchen, so i'll have to let the pictures speak for themselves.

**this is my 144th post on the 4th day of the 4th month. this, in itself, brings me much joy**

So cute. I wanna hold a baby chick! But not a bunny, for some reason they freak me out :) I'm still lovin Ally's hat!

Ahhh, chicks and bunnies and bare toes on the green grass! Looks like such a fun day. Is Ally's hat a new obsession? She does look so stinkin' cute in it!

Can you come live with me and chronicle my kids' lives with your amazing photography skills? Just a small favor... I think it's not too much to ask.

Lauren, there are lots of people out there who hate bunnies.

this is for them

Is it your camera alone or your artistic talent also? I think both. But...would a camera like yours help me a little bit? Your pictures are amazing!

Jaime- no problemo, i'll just camp out in your back yard and you can throw me some food from time to time. =)

Grady- you're crazy, everyone loves bunnies, i said!

Shawn- Thanks! It's definitely the camera. i tweak the color a bit in picasa, but to get a few good pictures requires TAKING about a million.
