Turkey Day Post #1: Go Big or Go Home

Eric discovered on the Butterball website that a 3 1/2 pound turkey will feed 2 adults and a child with leftovers. How big is our turkey you ask? Just shy of 21 pounds.
We started naming our Turkeys about 3 years ago. Meet Oswaldo. He is not only our supper...he is our friend. Turkey anyone?

wyatt just told me about your blog...okay, that's not entirely true. he told me a while ago at a point where i was busy doing something else and didn't internalize what he said. so here is my first official visit and i will continue to stalk your lives every day that i'm bored at work. so be prepared...

PS - i laughed really hard about your 21 pound turkey.

PSS - you should email wyatt your address. we NEED it.

I love Oswaldo! Did you cook him and eat him? You did. Oh, Oswaldo.

I'm envious of your giant turkey. I confess that I have stalked you all the way from Jake & AJs blog through Wyatt & Brittany and here I am. Glad to have found you. Hope you are keeping the B1 ward under control.

Lauren,

We need to get together for Thanksgiving next year. Then we can at least help you eat that 21 pound Oswaldo. I must admit I have a 21 pounder in my freezer that I will someday cook. Maybe I should start letting my kids name the birds like Ronny's family has named the cows that provide the beef sitting next to the turkey in the freezer. check out our blog at bjarnasons.blogspot.com
